VitreosHealth’s New Enrollee Model Featured in Predictive Modeling News
PLANO, TEXAS – May 1, 2018 – VitreosHealth, the Predictive Healthcare Insights company, announced today that it was featured in a recent Predictive Modeling News Article. The article called “The New Enrollee Challenge: Don’t Let a Lack of Data Cost You Money” was written by Kirit Pandit, Co-Founder and CTO of VitreosHealth. In the article, Mr. Pandit writes, “New enrollees are often completely unknown entities; until their first office visit, hospital visit or prescription refill, there is very little information available about them. However, many of them are chronically sick, and early intervention can prevent unnecessary utilization. You are leaving money on the table by not identifying high-cost new enrollees.”
The article goes on to highlight the analysis VitreosHealth has done for three new enrollee patient populations before building an AI model to address this issue. “New enrollees on average account for 20% of population and 15% of new costs. Most health plans have no cost containment strategies to target new enrollees,” writes Mr. Pandit. The article gives an inside look at how the AI-Modelling Team at VitreosHealth, led by Mr. Pandit, used this analysis to build their proprietary New Enrollee Model.
Jay Reddy, CEO and Co-Founder of VitreosHealth says, “We listened to our customers when they told us that New Enrollees were a constant challenge for proactive care management. We worked with them to build our AI-driven New Enrollee Model and it’s very validating that publications like Predictive Modeling News are showing interest in this model.”
