The Sales Executive (SE) will be responsible for coordinating the strategy, account management, and accomplishing revenue targets. The SE will research, plan, and execute the overall account strategy to meet or exceed assigned sales objectives. The SE will be responsible for identifying key decision makers and facilitating strong relationships across multiple levels within the account.

Basic Duties:

The ideal candidate possesses a strong technical analytical background and an understanding of healthcare provider and payer markets, pains, principles and practices. The Director of Healthcare Insights will lead the project management of implementations while building relationships with our most important customers to translate their goals and strategies to predictive analytics objectives.


  • Understand customer needs and be able to communicate effectively across distributed global teams
  • Understand the customer business problems and translate them to analytical decision-making frameworks
  • Be an extension of the customer business insights team and a trusted advisor
  • Lead the project management of customer implementations
  • Build relationships with multiple departmental contacts within our customer accounts
  • Develops upsell opportunities through account management best practices
  • Effectively composes technical and non-technical documents such as design specifications, operation guides, process flows, and other technical schematics


  • Bachelor's Degree in Science is a must. MBA is desirable
  • 8+ years of experience as performing the role of Business Analyst with a progression of increased responsibilities in US Healthcare Industry
  • Must be able to create and maintain high quality requirement artifacts (user stories, activity diagrams, use cases, data mapping sheets, etc.) using various tools (i.e. Visio, Wire framing tools, data modelling tools, etc.)
  • Experience in working on analysing Claims and EMR data
  • Detailed understanding of US Medicare and Medicaid Line of Business
  • Proficient use of IT systems and analysis tools including Microsoft Office (e.g.. Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Analytic, creative and business-focused problem solver, having ease facing client with excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to learn complex systems and business processes and define requirements for solutions
  • 3-4 Management consultant experience in one of the US consulting companies – Deliotte, Accenture, PWC, E&Y
  • Based in Dallas Texas
  • Strong analytical, presentation and high-intellect

Degree requirement: Ph.D. in Statistics or Biostatistics.

Key Functional knowledge: Statistical modeling, Data Mining, Machine Learning concepts.

Other skills:

Data scientists also possess a unique combination of technical, analytical, and presentation skills. They understand statistics and applied mathematics. They know enough programming to engineer methods for sourcing, processing, and storing their data. And they communicate their findings through data visualizations and stories.

Some of the languages and applications they use are SQL, R, SAS, Python, SPSS, Tableau, and Hadoop. Knowledge and experience in emerging cloud-based platforms like Apache Spark will help tremendously. Prior experience in HealthCare will also be a bonus.

What will you do at Vitreos?

The Data Scientist will use his knowledge of statistics and modeling to convert healthcare data into actionable insights. This will be done through development of novel predictive models incorporating knowledge of statistical modeling (regressions, time series) and machine learning (Neural Nets, Random Forests and others). The Scientist will be responsible for continuous improvement of these models to yield higher accuracies in prediction of key clinical and financial outcomes.

This individual will lead a team of junior data scientists and create a Center of Excellence. Other responsibilities include

  • Writing journal publications
  • Supporting the Analytics team
  • Supporting marketing presales teams and answering detailed questions
  • Speaking opportunities at conventions and conferences
  • The candidate does not need to have healthcare experience. VitreosHealth has significant experience in translating healthcare business problems into statistical problems for predictive modeling
